If you haven’t been to University Boulevard (UBLVD) in a while, we think you will be pleasantly surprised at its transformation. UBLVD is a hungry pedestrians’ paradise with 15 eateries all situated behind the famous ‘UBC’ sign on Wesbrook Mall! With a wide selection of restaurants and shops, it’s a new pedestrian experience! To introduce you to this newly refreshed area we are hosting an outdoor event.

For the month of September, experience the new eats, some nice chilled beats and delicious treats at UBLVD every Friday from 4pm – 8pm and every Saturday 12pm – 4pm. For all of the weekend warriors out there, this is a must to add to the itinerary. With amazing food options, an outdoor lounge, live music and games – do not miss out on all the fun this September! New Eats
There are now 15 eateries to discover at University Boulevard. No one enjoys a ‘name dropper’, but it is hard not to get excited over restaurants like Steve’s Poke Bar, Jamjar Canteen, Browns Crafthouse and Downlow Chicken Shack as some of UBC’s newest dining options.
No need to worry about seating, an additional outdoor lounge has been added to UBLVD! It is the perfect place to enjoy your take-away food and listen to live music!

Chilled Beats
When was the last time you enjoyed live music? Local performers are bringing the beats to UBLVD. Enjoy immaculate vibes all weekend with artists like Phil Bo, Mark Woodyard, Olin Brinx and Johnny Jover.

Delicious Treats
Want to hear something sweet? Rain or Shine will be serving their best scoops just steps away from the event! Enjoy sweet bubble tea from Chatime. If you find yourself in more of a baked goods mood, JJ Bean and Boulevard Cafe have an amazing selection of carbs, sweets and treats. For all of you looking for a bit more nutrition, fear not- Body Energy Club is available to save the day.

Live Art Performance
What is an event without an IG worthy photo wall? On Friday September 3rd, the talented abstract artist Michael Bock will be in his zone painting a wall that will be featured for the entire month! Bock is known for his amazing colour schemes and detailed designs. With emphasis on quality, his goal is not to be technically perfect, but honest. The kind of art that leaves the interpretation to the viewer. Come witness his talent for yourself in the live painting of the wall opening night, Friday September 3rd starting at 4.00pm.
